The Young Talents International Festival 2023, the spectacular showcase of winners of prestigious International Music Competitions, organized by the “G. Curci” Culture and Music Association of Barletta, in collaboration with and under the patronage of the City of Barletta, the Region of Puglia, and the Ministry of Culture, continues with success in the splendid Auditorium of the “Laboratorio Urbano GOS- Distillerie Culturali” in Barletta.
To be on stage, Sunday, May 28 , with doors at 6:30 p.m. and beginning at 7:00 p.m., at the Auditorium of the GOS Urban Laboratory, will be the very young pianist Alyssa Kok, last year’s winner of one of the two scholarships, offered by M° Ing. Luca Dimiccoli, to support young musicians, with the “Young Artist Special Concert Prize – A. Benedetti Michelangeli,” as part of the 25th International Piano Competition “Mauro Paolo Monopoli Prize,” after the great success during the opening of the Review of the Anglo-Saxon pianist Dominic Doutney , winner of the First Absolute Prize at the 25th International Piano Competition “Mauro Paolo Monopoli Prize” and “Nuovo Imaie 2022 Prize “which saw him perform in a long tour throughout Italy.

Alyssa Kok, a 21-year-old pianist born in Singapore, graduated with honors from the Mozarteum in Salzburg at the age of 18, after being admitted when she was only 14, making her one of the youngest graduates ever. Winner of numerous prizes in international piano competitions, she is currently specializing at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice under the guidance of internationally renowned professors. An established soloist in the international arena, she gives concerts throughout Europe, North America and Asia. In 2022 she gave a prestigious concert in Israel and a long concert tour in Canada, in the most important cities. He made his debut at only 11 years of age at Carneige Hall in New York and has since continued his radiant career both as a soloist and with major Orchestras conducted by great conductors. His recordings for Austrian Radio, ORF, and Radio Alberta in Canada are numerous.
A versatile artist, she is currently pursuing a degree in Harpsichord and studying Organ. Attentive to social issues, she has initiated charity projects to promote the study of classical music, raising funds in collaboration with World Emunah and Emunah Israel and with Charities in Singapore and Malaysia.

Fascinating and virtuosic program his dedicated to Liszt , Chopin, Prokofiev and Schumann , during which we will hear interesting and engaging pieces such as Liszt’s Hungarian Rhapsody, Schumann’s impressive Carnaval, Prokofieff’s Sonata No. 2 and Chopin’s Ballade No. 1.
